I can’t believe while reading one of the gossip websites the other day how they are glorifying the fact that rapper Lil Wayne is addicted to cough syrup. What’s so funny about that? Isnt anybody trying to get this brother some help at all? I saw an interview with someone he grew up with who spoke on the issue and he said that he wouldn’t be the one reaching out to the rapper about his addiction. Now wasn’t that nice? I hope he can live with the guilt when Lil Wayne finds himself in trouble behind this addiction.

Okay I must be alone on this but am I the only real man who can take their kid to daycare? I’m really appalled at my fellow brothers out there who can’t seem to do right by their ladies and share responsibilities with for their kids. Whenever I got to drop off my daughter at daycare, there isn’t a brother in sight. Only mothers dropping off their kids and picking them up on evenings as well. Of course they commend me for what I do and I feel proud of this, but there should be more of us out there standing up as responsibile men. I’m just saying.

In the news recently a soldier won like over $1 million dollars in the lottery. While this is such a great thing to happen to him, can you tell me why he has gone back to Iraq to conclude his military tour? That has to be the most craziest thing I’ve ever heard. Why  go back to war and risk losing all that money should crap happen to me out there?  I wonder if he gave thought to that?

My girlfriend never ceases to amaze me. She’s always bitching about the fact that we do not spend enough quality time together, but whenever I decide to give in to her rants, she wants to switch on Flavor Flav and his VH1 circus show. I mean who really gives a damn about whether this troll finds love or not? I certainly don’t. So imagine me having to give my girl some space when she’s watching this fool. Unbelievable.

One really wonders the selection process for getting a job with some employment agencies. They hired some temps to work at my firm who were supposedly screened by the employment agency and there is one woman in particular who definitely should not be there. The buzz in the office is that this temp is not only wasting company’s time but their money as well. Unfortunately they put her to work on the desk that is closest to me and if I had a dollar for every time that she approached me for help, I would be a VERY rich man. That this woman should be interrupting myself and other staff and still get paid to do so is downright crazy. I mean she’s been in our office for over a month. You would think she would “get it” by now. Sheesh!!!

If you thought the High School Musical tv movie is phenomenal, wait until you see the ice-skating version of it. My girlfriend and I took her nieces to see the show when they came to town recently and the girls were beside themselves with the performance. And although I’m not a big fan of HSM, I gotta say that it was well cherographed and well worth the 25 dollars that we paid. The only problem that I had was having to pay four dollars for a HSM coloring book. That was just wack.
